Super User Training Empowers Coastal Management in Egypt!
Working with intelligence and knowledge... Less effort, amazing results... Over three consecutive days, starting from April 22nd to 24th, the project held a training course in the field of wave Modeling - super users - as part of the capacity building program for the integrated management plan for coastal areas of #eccadp project for 7 trainees from project stakeholders, the Egyptian General Authority for Coast Protection, the National Water Research Center, the Institute of Marine Sciences. The course focused on professional development in the field of wave modeling. Wave Modeling: Wave modeling involves the use of mathematical and computational models to represent the behavior of waves in oceans, seas, and lakes. It is used to predict wave height, length, direction, and speed, as well as to assess the impact of waves on coastlines and marine infrastructure.
