Community development activities

The project to enhance adaptation to climate changes not only aims at sustainable development and protecting the coastal areas and their citizens from climate changes over the coming decades, but also targets the social dimension of the current citizens by raising their standard of living. It cooperates with some civil society organizations and research centers in presenting small projects and experimental projects such as agricultural greenhouses. There is another social dimension, which is changing the form of protection for the beaches in line with the high social level of the protection area by creating a landscape characterized by the civilized appearance and natural environmental components to preserve the ecosystems. for the coastal region.

The Climate Adaptation Enhancement Project presents a landscape model for coastal protection areas in order to develop and enhance the form of protection in a manner appropriate to the environmental dimension of the area and to serve the civilized and social level of high-end areas.

A study of the social and economic component of the project

This study aims to understand the most important social and economic characteristics of the local communities in the five regions selected for the protection operations by the project, as well as to assess the potential social and economic impacts of the protection works, and to discuss the complaints of the concerned parties in these areas as a result of these works, and to develop guiding steps for the development of the local communities of these regions.
