Stre ngthening the Expertise of Stakeholders and Ministries Involved in Coastal Zone Management

The #eccadp project completes the activities of the Capacity Raising Program within the Integrated Management Plan for Coastal Zones. Over the course of three days starting from June 4 to 6 in Alexandria, the project management organized an intensive training program aimed at consolidating the concept of integration in theory and practice for the second group of the Climate Ambassadors Program with the participation of 40 ambassadors. From stakeholders, ministries and agencies concerned with coastal zone management The program began with an intensive workshop on Conflict Resolution Management with Dr. Yousry Al-Koumi, the strategic planning expert in the project, whose goal was the importance of participants learning how to reduce the negative aspects of the conflict while increasing its positive aspects. Which has a significant impact on improving learning, improving communication and cooperation between the parties involved in the conflict, increasing productivity, creating a positive work environment, and reducing costs. The training program ended with a field visit linking theory and practice, in which Dr. Mohamed Ahmed, Executive Director of the project, the projects protection work was carried out at a low cost and with environmentally friendly techniques in the areas of Mastrouh and Rasheed. The project explains to the climate ambassadors the integration and cooperation on the ground between the executive authorities of the coastal areas in implementing protection work.
