Flood Modeling Training Launched to Enhance Coastal Protection in Egypt

Flood Modeling Training for Super Users In continuation of the capacity building program for the integrated management plan for coastal areas of the project #eccadp, the project held a training course over three consecutive days, starting from May 7th to 9th, in the field of Flood modeling - super users The course was attended by 9 trainees from project stakeholders, including the Egyptian General Authority for Coast Protection, the National Water Research Center, and the Institute of Marine Sciences. The course focused on professional development in the field of flood modeling for coastal protection. Benefits of Flood Modeling for Coastal Protection: Flood modeling provides coastal protection authorities with several important tools, including: Identifying areas at risk of flooding from storms and high waves. Assessing the impact of sea level rise. Designing coastal protection measures.
