The training program for climate ambassadors
Within the framework of the implementation of the Climate Ambassadors Program, one of the activities of the Integrated Coastal Zones Plan, the second component of ECCADP project, a coordination meeting was held headed by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ali, the executive director of the project, and the training, development and human experts, Dr. Yousry Al-Komy, the strategic expert, and Dr. Harbi Ezz El-Din, capacity building expert, and in the presence of Dr. Taher Othman, responsible for the project's integrated management plan, prof. Hassan Gabrallah, media official for the project. The meeting dealt with preparing and coordinating the start of the training program for developing and raising the capabilities of the members of the Climate Ambassadors Program, and working to qualify them in a way that raises their capabilities to manage and implement the integrated coastal zone management plan in order to achieve effectiveness for the development of coastal communities. It is worth noting that the Climate Ambassadors Program is considered the main pillar for the implementation of the integrated coastal zone management plan, which includes 40 members of the cadres working in the executive authorities responsible for the management of coastal zones.
