The mechanisms of an integrated coastal zone management plan begin on the ground
Workshops were held in Port Said Governorate that included executive officials in the various governorates of - North Sinai - Dakahlia - Port Said - Damietta within the framework of implementing the second component of the activities of the project - Promoting adaptation to climate changes in the northern coast and the Nile River Delta - which is the development of an integrated management plan for coastal areas that takes into account various Activities in the region and paving the way for achieving sustainable development along the Mediterranean. It also relies on the latest scientific knowledge, modeling tools and accurate data to enable decision makers to take the appropriate decision at the right time. The workshop dealt with identifying the training needs of the executive officials, each in his field, to serve the achievement of integration between the various parties to manage the coastal zones.
